Job Title: HR Business Partner
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
Location: Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid 3 days a week office)

We are looking for an experienced HRBP to align with our Operations Division (currently over 600 people strong - and growing). Ideally you have 3+ years HRBP experience, and exposure to significant scaling and change. Its a bonus if you have experience of M&A - specifically integrating acquired businesses.
The People Business Partner works with the business area leadership team, to deliver the people initiatives that drive strategic and commercial value. They have a particular focus on building robust career paths and a strong OneFocus cultural experience. They partner with business leaders to provide expertise, guidance, and support.
Principal Responsibilities/Duties
- Develop a strong business partner relationship with managers in the assigned business unit, acting as an internal consultant to diagnose, develop and implement HR strategies and people plans that drive business performance.
- Drive a OneFocus culture across the business unit, ensuring that employees have a strong employee experience.
- Lead, advise and guide the scoping and implementation of acquisitions and organisation restructures to guide the wider strategic direction of the business
- Build robust career paths across the business unit, ensuring that these are supported by learning and development and reward processes
- Devise and implement resource plans and recruitment strategies for the business unit in conjunction with talent acquisition.
- Support and develop business leaders in the identification of talent, providing plans to support the retention and development of high potential individuals. Develop robust succession plans for the business unit.
- Work with managers to identify and plan the learning and development of their teams to improve performance, capability and talent development.
- Oversee, coach and support managers with performance management and complex employee relations issues.
- Advise, guide and support employees on People practices ensuring they are implemented in a consistent manner.
- Lead talent management initiatives for the Group including goal setting, talent reviews and succession planning
- Lead and deliver People projects across Focus Group.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- HR business partnering experience, ideally in a high growth business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels in the organisation.
- Strategic thinking, commerciality and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate this into an engaging and robust delivery plan
- Proven ability in project management and change management.
- Data driven with a strong analytical ability and a focus on measuring success
- An agile approach to work with the ability to focus on the areas that add the most value
