As Senior Brand Manager, you will be a key contributor to the team, taking on the critical responsibility of strategically developing and planning the marketing and strategy elements for Ferrero’s Ice Cream category. Your efforts will encompass a multifaceted approach to guide actions aimed at achieving both long-term and short-term objectives.
A significant focus of the role will be on developing a comprehensive three-year plan, collaborating across functions to define the strategic direction of the Ice Cream category within Ferrero. This involves providing the challenge and support needed to craft impactful and enduring strategies. Within the one-year plan, you will lead and implement brand marketing strategies that steer the company towards immediate goals related to products, promotions, channels, competitors, pricing, and communications for the coming year. You will also propose annual budgets and HR resource plans to ensure the category is equipped with the necessary resources to achieve its objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
Managing relationships with external strategic business partners is another vital aspect of your role. This includes safeguarding and enhancing the company’s corporate image and reputation, as well as supporting the growth and development of the Ice Cream category. You will influence across functions to secure buy-in for key brand strategies and foster positive working relationships with Global Category teams, factory contacts, and international marketing teams to align strategies. Additionally, you will manage internal communications to ensure key brand directions, missions, and activities are consistently understood.
Commercial Decisions:
At the core of commercial decision-making, you will influence brand strategies for the Ice Cream category at senior management levels on an ongoing basis. This includes proactively planning and managing initiatives and projects, whether related to day-to-day operations or strategic, long-term projects of medium to high complexity. You will continuously monitor brand, market, and consumer performance and manage ad-hoc projects informed by continuous panels and specific consumer research.
You will also play a crucial role in managing and recommending marketing operations to ensure the category meets its sales targets and objectives. Additionally, your financial acumen will contribute to the delivery of annual profit growth targets for the Ice Cream category, particularly in relation to marketing contributions. You will recommend profitable brand development strategies and propose resource allocation plans to drive financial success.
