Description
Reporting organisationally to the Employee Experience Manager, the Employee Experience Specialist will be a key member of the FIFA26 Workforce team across all our functional areas and work in close collaboration with the Canada and Mexico team and other key individuals responsible for delivering the FIFA World Cup. The coordinator will be instrumental in developing and implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and overall organizational culture.
THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Employee Experience Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
Employee Engagement Programs
- Planning and executing engagement programs and initiatives to boost morale and create a sense of community among employees.
- Assist with organization of team-building activities, social events and celebrate achievements and foster a positive workplace culture in our 16 host cities.
- Assist with management of recognition program (nominations/ awards).
- Collaborate with various departments to align engagement activities with organizational goals and values.
Feedback and Communication
- Implement strategies to gather employee feedback and assess satisfaction levels through surveys, focus groups, or other means.
- Analyze feedback data to identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Onboarding and Integration
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company culture.
- Promote resources to help new employees understand company policies, values, and expectations.
- Conduct follow-up activities to support new employees during their initial months.
Employee Well-being and Support
- Partner with HR to promote employee wellness programs and initiatives that support physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Serve as a resource for employees seeking assistance with work-related issues or concerns.
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications/PR or sports management or similar field and level of higher education.
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role required
- Understanding of event planning, creation and delivery, human resources processes, campaigns and schedules
- Event management, community management / engagement, working with multiple stakeholders and groups within a company or project on a global scale.
- Experience in marketing, coaching, teaching or training would be a plus – experienced in communicating messages with impact in diverse groups
Languages
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- Use of Canva, Adobe Suite, Video/Photo Editing a plus
