Job Description & Summary
The role requires a breadth of knowledge in Human Capital (HC) management and relevant operational experience to work with key stakeholders in the execution of HC and resource management strategy for the Acceleration Center in Kuala Lumpur, supporting the People Leader.

Scope of work
- Work with PwC US and other Acceleration Centers in ensuring consistency of the model (to the extent possible) and people experience.
- Manage a consistent people strategy and execution of HC priorities, working with the functional HC leads.
- Key point of contact in providing HC related advice and support to client facing teams in the Center; assisting the People Leader in all facets of HC management.
- Lead resource management and people deployment operations in order to support demand and supply of resources in line with project pipeline and skills requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Drive people strategy and initiatives in partnership with local and xAC leaders and HR teams (talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR shared services) in line with people policies and business priorities. This includes recruitment strategy, workforce planning, talent management and employee experience.
- Have a point of view on people policies and practices, and be able to formulate, implement and regularly review practices to ensure we remain an employer of choice
- Manage, provide advice on, and resolve employee relations issues
- Develop and implement staff engagement strategy incorporating best practices and data points
- Partner with senior management to identify and address workforce issues and needs.
- Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and ensure adequate quality control towards risks for HC deliverables
- Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Oversee the resolution of employee issues and grievances. Ensure a fair and consistent approach to organizational policies and procedures.
Resource Management / Deployment
- Lead the resource management team to plan and execute processes on demand forecasting, staff deployments, capacity management, demand-supply gap management along with optimal utilization of resources.
Performance Management
- Plan, monitor, and provide support and guidance for the execution of annual performance management processes including development planning, managing the performance review cycle and compensation reviews.
- Provide guidance on employment related issues including managing poor performance and disciplinary action, when required.
Talent Management
- Facilitate and support talent management programs, in collaboration with the xAC HC leaders.
Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement
- Support diversity and inclusion strategy, wellbeing and corporate responsibility programs to drive an inclusive culture focusing on employee engagement, wellbeing and digitalisation.
Communication and Change
- Collaborate with the Internal Communications and Change team to co-develop HC related people messages and change management plans.
Operation
- Develop and implement HR operations strategies aligned with the overall business goals. Ensure that HR practices support long-term business objectives.
- Identify, design, and implement improvements in HR processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- At least 12 years of progressive HR experience (HR consulting, HR Generalist, HR & administration experience) gained with multinational companies ideally in fast-changing industries
- HR knowledge of Malaysia local and expat employment practices and labour laws is desirable
- Proven experience in managing a wide range of HR-related issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
