Overview of role:
RLB has grown significantly over the last five years, and we need an Employee Communications and Engagement Manager to help create and deliver an engaging and consistent communications strategy and build our employer brand.
This new role will facilitate change, support leaders with communication best practice and create informative and exciting content that supports the business strategy.
The role is focused on four key areas:
- Employee and Executive communications
- Strategic programme support
- Content creation and channel management
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Executive Board, the People team, and Branding & Communication/Marketing team to deliver projects aligned with business strategy and core objectives.
- Develop internal communication strategies and communication plans to support company-wide initiatives and launches.
- Manage and align messaging for multiple marketing campaigns across all internal channels, ensuring that content is timely, clear and consistent.
- Manage two-way channels and forums to communicate news and information, gathering feedback after.
- Provide oversight, management, and content for key virtual and face to face forums, helping to shape the agenda, prepare materials and share outputs.
- Introduce new platforms and processes to business when required.
- Work with Senior Leadership team to deliver Strategy Away Days, AGM and Partner briefings.
- Develop and drive initiatives to enhance our Employer Branding.
- Support the RLB community groups to build better connections and further unite RLB.
Person specification:
Experience:
- Have a proven background in internal communications, working in a matrixed/professional services environment.
- Experience working with Senior Leadership with sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience leading cultural transformation and change communication initiatives.
- Previous project experience, being able to advise Executive Board and Strategy based experience would be a key advantage.
- Experience working with digital platforms.
- High level of IT competency, MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.
