About The Role
We're now looking for a People & Culture Manager to join the team on a 12 month maternity cover contract, providing comprehensive HR support to the business and our employees, with the support of a People and Culture Advisor.
Key responsibilities:
As the People & Culture Manager at FutureBrand you’ll work closely with the Leadership team and the wider business to create and implement the talent / people strategy, whilst supporting the full employment cycle, advising on best practice, and providing guidance to our leaders and managers on all employee matters.
Responsibilities will include:
- Talent Management and Planning: implementing core strategic processes such as talent / succession planning, performance management, talent acquisition and retention. Ensuring the appraisal and performance review process is embedded, providing training and management support where necessary
- Recruitment: working with Hiring Managers to help establish / predict upcoming needs, advising teams on resourcing requirements, salary and benefits data, and advising on recruitment best practice. Ensuring recruitment processes are compliant with company processes, and overseeing the administration of new employees in conjunction with the Advisor and Shared Services team
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted and credible advisor in relation to any employee relations issues, advising departmental managers on issues including absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievance, appeals and other issues. Recommend timely solutions that are efficient, cost effective and implemented fairly and diplomatically. Management of terminations of employment including resignations, dismissals, medical retirements and redundancies. Providing sound advice and challenging where necessary to mitigate risk
- Learning & Development: design of the annual L&D programme, designing updated career pathways for each department and supporting initiatives from the wider MWG and IPG networks
- Compensation & Benefits: management of the pay rise and promotion process, assisting the leadership team with pay review processes, and overseeing the payroll change and pension administration side with the support of the People & Culture Advisor
- Line management of the People and Culture Advisor
- Project Management: Supporting the business through a number of HR projects such as an upcoming Workday implementation, rollout of any global initiatives from within Futurebrand / McCann Worldgroup / IPG
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience as a generalist HR / People Manager, able to work independently and provide sound HR advice across a range of employment matters
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to challenge where necessary to ensure the right outcome
Nice to have:
- Previous experience within the creative / advertising sector is advantageous
- Previous experience with Workday would be beneficial
