Our client, a leading global beauty company, is seeking a Director of Talent to join their New York corporate office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This person will oversee the hiring strategy, build collaborative relationships across departments, and work with external partners to ensure seamless talent acquisition processes and a strong employer brand.
Job Duties Include:
- Lead and manage talent acquisition across North America, focusing on executive-level recruitment and aligning hiring processes with company transformation goals
- Revamp employer branding, build talent pipelines, and strengthen internal recruitment strategies
- Develop and implement talent forecasting and pipelining processes to proactively address hiring needs
- Manage recruitment team with a strong focus on developing a culturally attuned and globally aware talent acquisition strategy
- Oversee recruitment efforts fostering partnerships with global teams
- Supervise a team ensuring successful recruitment of senior management, director-level roles, and internship program hires
- Manage relationships with off-site RPOs and temp staffing partners to streamline recruitment efforts
- Collaborate to promote internal mobility, supporting employee growth and cross-functional development opportunities
- Partner with executive search firms for critical roles and projects as necessary
- Act as main point of contact regarding escalation for regional talent acquisition challenges, providing strategic resolutions
Job Qualifications Include:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
- Experience in the beauty industry, with a deep understanding of the beauty market, roles, and recruitment strategies
- Experience in the skincare industry is highly preferred
- Experience leading recruitment efforts within the beauty industry or similar sectors, covering a range of roles and geographies
- Ability to design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies at a regional or global level
- Background in managing recruitment teams, external partners, and senior leadership hires.
- Expertise in leveraging social media platforms and digital tools for sourcing and recruitment
- Familiarity with modern recruiting technologies and their application in streamlining hiring processes
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Salary: $175k - $190k + bonus
