Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Engagement Manager In this role, as an Engagement Manager you will be accountable for driving profitable growth by providing visible, onsite leadership and subject matter expertise to Clients and Genpact Project Teams within a Strategic Account. Successful Engagement Managers Delight Clients with insightful strategies and well-managed deliverables through active hands-on engagement.
Responsibilities
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor, fostering and nurturing relationships within the client's CIO/DT organization, in collaboration with Genpact Sales and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Governance and Engagement Management: Establish and drive the engagement and program governance processes to ensure the realization of client value propositions, while identifying early warning indicators of potential issues or risks.
• Brand Advocacy: Promote and enhance the Genpact brand across the customer organization, ensuring clear and transparent communication to strengthen partnerships.
• Value Proposition Development: Leverage your understanding of client business and digital transformation goals to shape and communicate compelling Genpact value propositions effectively.
• Engagement Growth: Forecast and facilitate extensions, change orders, and purchase orders to ensure continuity and growth in existing engagements.
• Profitability Management: Proactively drive engagement profitability in collaboration with Global Program Management and Service Lines.
• Business Development: Identify and secure new growth opportunities within the client account, aiming to exceed operating plan targets.
• Market Intelligence: Analyze the competitive landscape to inform the development of highly competitive proposals in terms of solutions and pricing.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency within the team, focusing on employee retention, deal setup, client invoicing, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
• Proposal Management: Oversee the end-to-end RFP/Proposal cycle, including governance and timely submission of proposals and statements of work.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals, deliverables, and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience with working either in/for Heavy Industrial Machinery industry
• Fortune 500 company experience
• Strategic consulting expertise or practice at a large consulting firm
• Program Management experience
• Experience and cultural flexibility to work across countries and succeed in a global organization
• Hands-on Technology and digital experience in operations, solutions or transitions.
