The Director, Engagement and Belonging is responsible for measuring and improving candidate/employee engagement and sense of belonging within EverCommerce.
Role Responsibilities:
Engagement
Design and implement a comprehensive employee listening strategy, including:
- Collaborate with leaders to establish engagement goals
- Identifying crucial moments in the candidate and employee experience to measure and improve
- Tap into relevant data sources
- Leverage Culture Amp platform and dashboards
- Lead effective and meaningful action planning processes across the organization
- Manage engagement cycle surveys and employment lifecycle surveys
- Partner with People Insights team to harness our people data
Belonging
Create and implement a plan to increase a sense of belonging in our ‘remote-first’ environment, including:
- Supporting our four Employee Resource Groups (ERG)s as they carry out their mission and objectives
- Auditing the employee lifecycle to identify and improve opportunities to create a community of belonging
- Create a initiatives for enhancing connection for virtual teams, in line with our values
- Collaborate with our Corporate Communications team to align our brand, messaging, activities and events
- Define and establish an Employer Value Proposition (EVP), in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, Total Rewards, and company leadership.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
We recognize that valuable experiences can come from a variety of non-traditional paths. Here are some of the skills and experiences an ideal candidate should have:
- Has led first-time implementation of people projects or significant changes to employee experiences in a global organization
- Has been accountable for company-wide engagement survey program
- Has been on-point for supporting or establishing ERGs
- Has experience building an EVP
- Savvy with data analytics
- Adaptability and comfort working at a quick pace
- Strong drive to collaborate across a variety of stakeholder groups
- Ability to steadily move multiple projects forward, simultaneously
- Strong consultation and coaching skills
- Understanding of principles of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
- Advanced degree in Organization Development, Organization Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Factors or similar field preferred.
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
This role can be based anywhere in the United States. If you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is
$150,000 - $200,000 USD + variable bonus per year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
