Job Details
Our company, a leading player in the Entertainment Industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources (HR). This exciting role is permanent and full-time, offering the opportunity to shape the HR strategy of our organization. The VP of HR will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, aligning them with the business strategy. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to maintain a high caliber workforce
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Oversee employee compensation and benefits, including 401K
- Lead HR projects like compensation plans revisions
**Qualifications**
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for 5+ years
- People-oriented and results-driven, with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, 401K, and compensation
- Proficient in SHRM and other HR management tools
- BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
