Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of People & Culture to lead our Human Resources function and drive initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of People & Culture will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and support the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with the overall business objectives
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on people and culture matters
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the talent acquisition process, ensuring the recruitment and onboarding of top talent
- Develop and implement strategies for employee retention, talent development, and succession planning
Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being
- Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gather employee feedback and measure engagement
Culture and Diversity:
- Foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture that reflects the organization's values
- Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create a diverse and welcoming workplace
Performance Management:
- Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, regular check-ins, and performance evaluations
- Implement performance improvement plans when necessary
Learning and Development:
- Develop and oversee learning and development programs that align with employee and organizational needs
- Support continuous learning and skills development
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures
HR Compliance:
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations and ensure HR practices are compliant
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
- Collaborate with the finance team to design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness
Communication and Change Management:
- Lead internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed about organizational changes, initiatives, and updates
- Effectively manage change initiatives and support employees through transitions
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
Strategic Thinking:
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with broader business objectives
Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Ability to inspire and lead a high-performing HR team
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
- Commitment to promoting and fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
Change Management:
- Proven experience in change management and leading teams through organizational transitions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
