We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to drive revenue growth in our executive search firm. You'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients globally, building strong relationships, and expanding our client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will work from a list of leads, go to events (vegas in Oct 2025 to Money2020), and you can develop your own leads. You will be using Zoom info for Data. You will also be managing a team of 5 BDs
Please note you will also be driving revenue from existing key clients.
Responsibilities:
Acquire New Clients: Identify and target potential clients, generate leads, and convert them into profitable relationships. You will develop own leads as well as go to exhibitions/Conferences such as Money2020, you will also be provided with leads.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and influencers, serving as a trusted advisor.
Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals showcasing our firm's capabilities and tailored solutions.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, secure contracts, and achieve revenue targets.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, conduct research, and identify business opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the executive search team to align business development efforts with the firm's strategy.
Networking and Branding: Represent the firm at industry events, promote services through various channels.
Reporting and Analysis: Maintain records, analyse data, and provide insights for decision-making.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, minimum 3 years of business development experience, preferably in executive search or professional services, knowledge of the payments industry desired but not essential.
Track Record: Proven success in achieving revenue targets and acquiring new clients.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of executive search industry, client requirements, and market dynamics.
Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to connect with senior executives.
Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen, ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
Results Orientated: Self-motivated, works well independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing priorities.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business development tools.
Package: you will be offered a base salary between £40,000 - £50,000 plus bonuses and an override on all placements which come from your clients won, OTE 160k.
