SPECIFIC TERM, UNTIL MARCH 2026
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Talent and Culture, the HR Coordinator will work with the Human Resources team and play an active role in ensuring the smooth running of operations and supporting various initiatives and projects underway in the field of human resources.
- To advise managers and staff on the interpretation of HR policies and to support managers in the application of internal policies.
- Support the work of the HR advisors in all tasks relating to continuous learning and development, training plans and the implementation of onboarding and integration strategies for new members of staff.
- Contribute to recruitment activities, more specifically, to post internal and external job postings, telephone interviews and pre-employment checks (reference checks, credit and background checks, language tests and creation of new staff members in the human resources management system).
- Provide support in managing HRIS support requests from staff and managers.
- Collaborating on project plans to ensure proper management and monitoring of the various HR projects underway and contributing to the completion of assigned projects, in collaboration with the HR team.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial relations or any other related discipline or combination of equivalent and relevant experience.
- Member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines (an asset).
- Knowledge of Ceridian's Dayforce HRIS software would be an asset.
- Experience in managing OHS files would be an asset.
- Spoken languages required: French and English (CBC non-imperative level, according to Language requirements for candidates - Canada.ca).
