A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Leadership & Business Partnership
- Must be deeply operational - understands structure, quick to pick up knowledge
- Works directly with business leaders to execute HR strategies that impact business performance
- High autonomy and ownership - can drive the HR agenda! Not Siloed
Workforce & People Strategy
- Workforce planning: Expertise in lean workforce optimization and cross-border talent strategies
- Talent acquisition & development: Experience in senior hiring - most importantly scope of talent in structure and capability-building
- HR tech & automation: Familiar with AI/HR tech tools for efficiency and decision-making
- Crisis & change management: Able to stabilize, scale, and transform HR operations during rapid change
- Employer branding & engagement: Builds strong, scalable culture in high-churn workforce environments for own pillars
Cultural & Regional Fit
- Malaysia-based, with strong SEA experience
- Strategic thinker with a fast-execution mindset
- Communication is key - Must build strong relationships at all levels of the organization

Requirements
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have' for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related
- field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a business
- partner role
- Proven track record in managing the full employee life cycle and HR processes
- Strong advisory and communication skills
- Experience in implementing engagement, recognition, and inclusion initiatives
- Ability to manage relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
- Multitasking capability and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
