About the Role:
As the People Operations Partner, you’ll have a meaningful impact by supporting our Finixians to succeed in their roles by being the first point of contact for questions and coordinating critical people programs.
This role will report directly to the VP of People and Talent. You’ll collaborate closely with our Finance, Business Technology, Compliance, and Operations teams to support ongoing projects and deliver strategic people support.
This hybrid role entails working in the office 4 days per week in our San Francisco HQ.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Own the employee lifecycle including Pre-boarding, On-boarding, and Off-boarding
- Be the go-to person to support our Finixians with any benefit, working norms, and policy questions.
- Create memorable moments for our Finixians, both in person and virtually, to drive Finixian engagement and team building.
- Own our HRIS (Paylocity) and People Team Tech Stack (15Five, Workramp) to ensure accurate data around people changes and updates.
- Analyze and report monthly and quarterly People metrics and demographics to measure impact, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to the leadership team.
- Assist with the planning of performance reviews and employee engagement surveys.
- Manage the People Team Confluence page
- Respond to audit, unemployment, and employment verification requests.
- Work with the VP of People to create and launch our new Finixian Feedback survey. We’re overhauling our engagement surveys, from timing to content to gain actionable insights from our Finixians.
- Develop AI tooling to support our Finixians to be more impactful and efficient

You are:
- Someone who has done most of this. 2+ years of People Ops experience, preferably in a high-growth organization.
- Knowledgeable of the law. Well-versed in local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- A fan of technology. You understand the need for tech to support scale and a human to guide the way. And excited about AI.
- One who sweats the small stuff. You know details matter and love tying up loose ends.
- Passionate about your craft. You take pride in your work and have an eagerness to evolve. You may often find yourself geeking out on the latest tech solutions, reading People blogs, listening to podcasts, and dreaming about how to create an environment where high performers thrive.
- Excited about numbers and spreadsheets. You can whip up a pivot table, chart, or graph with ease to tell a story or share insights.

Base Salary Range: $110,000/year - $140,000/year + Equity + Benefits
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
