CBHS Health Fund Limited is a not-for-profit, restricted access health fund run exclusively for current and former employees of the Commonwealth Bank Group, as well as their immediate families. We are currently seeking an Internal Communications and Employee Experience Manager to join the People and Culture team on a 13 month fixed-term contract, with possibility to extend.
About the role
The purpose of this role is to plan and manage internal communications, focussing on continually enhancing channels, messaging consistency and awareness throughout the business, with the goal of improving employee engagement and collaboration.
Additionally, you will lead and/or support cultural and employee experience projects and initiatives that seek to build on our positive culture, great working environment, employee value proposition (EVP) and position CBHS as a preferred employer.
The role includes managing one direct report, the Internal Communications Specialist.
Some key responsibilities include
- Execute the internal communications plan to support and enable the business and People Strategy.
- Form and execute communication strategies or messages from the Group CEO and Executive team through a range of C-suite communication channels
- Contribute to the design and delivery of organisation-wide employee experience initiatives arising from the People Strategy, which support improvements in organisational culture, performance, attraction and retention, diversity & inclusion, reward & recognition, employee engagement and health & wellbeing.
- Deliver large-scale organisational events including the Annual Awards and End of Year Party.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of EVP and employer brand initiatives
About you
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience managing and administrating intranets (SharePoint experience highly desirable).
- Experience in creating and embedding communication plans.
- Experience in managing large-scale events.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
