As the People & Culture Assistant Manager - Training Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our team, ensuring exceptional service delivery while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Your mission will be to enhance our team's skills, oversee and support recruitment efforts, manage all HR aspects, and cultivate a motivated workforce that embodies the Conrad ethos of immersive experiences and authentic connections with local culture. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of labor law to ensure compliance. Help us create memorable experiences for our guests while contributing to a transformative project that will set new standards in luxury and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all HR aspects, including compliance with labor laws.
• Oversee and support the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of candidates who align with the hotel's values and objectives.
• Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee performance and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and ensure alignment with the hotel's objectives.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to promote engagement and retention.
• Create and maintain training records and progress reports to monitor employee development and compliance.
• Support the development of leadership programs to nurture and advance management talent within the organization.
• Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Encourage a culture of learning and development, promoting various training resources and opportunities available to employees.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a training and development role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent communication (both in Greek & English) and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate team members.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop suitable programs for diverse employee groups.
• Competency in using training software and Microsoft Office Suite to create training materials.
• A passion for continuous improvement and professional development in the hospitality sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of labor law and HR practices to ensure compliance.
• Experience in heavy recruitment activities, including creating and executing recruitment plans to meet staffing needs efficiently.
