WHO WE NEED
The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources functions. This person will work with the Human Resource Director as well as the coordinator to accomplish projects in the areas of personnel administration, labor relations, recruitment, policy development, organizational analysis, training and more.
Provide administrative support for human resources service delivery plans and operating procedures pertaining to all workforce members.
Manage and update new employee tracker.
Send reminders to reply to emails and directing appropriate members of the team to message that apply to them.
Answer HR phone calls and listen to voicemails. Take messages for the onsite recruiter when unavailable well as prioritize HR calls.
Check all new hire paperwork for multiple markets.
Check employee PTO accrual bi-weekly.
Provide other administrative and operational support as directed.
Maintains employee records within the HRMS system.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and especially Excel
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Light bookkeeping experience a plus
Advanced board game, shuffleboard and accuracy in Nerf dart skills are always highly beneficial
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Business, Public Administration, Personnel Management, or a related field.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated and results oriented. Actively support department and corporate policies and goals.
Progressively responsible experience in Human Resources. SPHR or PHR preferred but not required to be considered.
Excellent knowledge of Labor Laws.
Well-developed skills in verbal and written communications with the ability to adapt to change, adjust to revised objectives, and ensure timely and accurate completion of detailed tasks.
