Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dynamic team.
This is a part-time position 26h per week (10 am - 5 pm with a 30-minute break, Monday - Thursday) offering a hybrid working model: following a probationary period (office-based), you'll work 2 days from home and 1 day each from our offices in SE1 9HS and SW8 3HE. We understand the demands of modern life and this role would suit someone with additional responsibilities, such as school drop-offs/pick-ups. The Role:
As our HR Administrator, you'll be the go-to person for all things HR and administrative. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth processes, accurate record-keeping, and a positive employee experience. This 12-month fixed-term contract is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Manage job adverts, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and maintain our recruitment portals (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Onboarding: Assist with the seamless onboarding of new hires, ensuring a welcoming and informative start.
- HR Enquiries: Respond to internal and external HR-related enquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate digital and electronic employee records, including holiday, sickness, and other essential information.
- Payroll Support: Assist with processing weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Training & Development: Support HR-related training programmes and workshops, particularly with our Kallidus training portal.
- Health & Safety: Provide support to the Health & Safety function, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.
- Data Management: Enter employee data into our computer database, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Induction Coordination: Coordinate induction programmes for new hires, providing a comprehensive introduction to MPG.
- Confidentiality: Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- General Administration: Provide ad-hoc administrative support as needed, contributing to the smooth running of the office.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
- Requirements for the Role:
Essential:
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Word)
