How You’ll Make An Impact
The Marketing Manager will play a key role in managing marketing campaigns and initiatives across channels, ensuring that marketing assets are effectively deployed and aligned with the organization’s goals. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Member Growth, this role will support the growth of KCRW’s overall audience and membership by managing day-to-day tasks related to campaign coordination, asset trafficking, and cross-team communication. This role combines a passion for connecting the right audience with the right message and project management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- Campaign Management :
- Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across owned, paid, earned, and trade media.
- Coordinate internally and externally to traffic and schedule assets across platforms, ensuring correct placements and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal cross-departmental teams to ensure that all creative assets meet campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and ad guidelines.
- Write and edit promotional campaign copy for multi-channel use.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to acquire new audiences and drive conversion to membership.
- Liaise with outside vendors and partners
- Asset Management & Distribution :
- Maintain and manage a central repository for marketing assets, ensuring files are organized and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
- Work with external media partners and vendors to traffic advertising creative, ensuring assets are delivered according to technical specifications.
- Ensure that all assets are optimized for platform-specific needs, including size, format, and technical requirements (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.).
- Owned Media Coordination :
- Coordinate marketing needs for shows, live events, promotions, newsletters, KCRW app, and other community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate campaign updates across all our owned media platforms to support marketing campaigns and initiatives including website, app, social, newsletters, broadcast, street team, podcast network, etc.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting :
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns across paid and owned channels using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and third-party reporting platforms.
- Create weekly and monthly reports on campaign performance, asset utilization, and key KPIs for internal stakeholders.
- Organizational Support :
- Support the Director, Marketing and Member Growth in administrative tasks, including preparing presentations, maintaining launch docs, and tracking budgets. Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.
- Cross-train on responsibilities across the audience team to provide coverage as needed.
- Staff KCRW events as assigned.
Here’s What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or media coordination.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of paid media strategies and content management systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including project leadership and management skills
- Proactive problem-solving and a desire to create efficient structures
- Love for KCRW, its mission and audience.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing tools, CMS).
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Monday.com
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or social media insights.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools such as HubSpot.
