$100k plus 15% Bonus
Position Overview
The Human Resources Generalist – Employee Relations will support the daily operations of the HR department alongside senior team members. The Human Resource Generalist – Employee Relations handles essential HR tasks across various functional areas, ensuring efficient business operations in line with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Of The Human Resource Generalist – Employee Relations
- Respond to employee questions and concerns.
- Handle employee relations including investigations and employee performance issues.
- Assist with terminations.
- Handle documentation of investigations and terminations.
- Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Develop relationships within the organization to understand business needs.
- Gain knowledge and assist with company benefits, payroll, and recruiting operations.
- Coordinate and complete annual compensation surveys.
- Support annual compensation and talent management activities.
- Create and send communications to employees.
- Develop external networking relationships within HR and related communities.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and protect confidential information.
- Conduct research and update HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure information is properly stored and the workspace is organized.
Qualifications For The Human Resource Generalist – Employee Relations
- Experience working with a large non-exempt employee base - real estate, hospitality, retail, maintenance-related industry experience.
- Strong employee relations experience including investigations and terminations.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with and manage senior management.
- Collaborative working style with a commitment to excellence.
- Emotional intelligence in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
