The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Chicago, New York, DC, Detroit, Atlanta, or Omaha.
The HRBP 1, Consulting and Solutions HRBPs (C&S), is responsible for supporting People Leaders with performance & behavioral management situations in their orgs. This is an exciting opportunity for an HRBP to be a part of a talent team that is driving cutting-edge HR tactics across the organization. You will be responsible for aligning HR strategy with business priorities, providing HR business partnership support and driving results. Responsibilities: - Provide consultation and coaching to people leaders on individual performance concerns within their organizations
- Intake all employee grievances and behavioural concerns, triage appropriately to ER partners
- Improve people leader capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities
- Analyze data, understand trends, and develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build out and operationalize HR processes that can be scaled .
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across our talent processes including annual reviews, employee engagement surveys and provide input to employee relations and performance management matters
- Foster relationships with functional and COE HR Business Partners and influence and contribute to decisions impacting the business and employees
- Exemplify and champion LinkedIn’s culture and values and be viewed as a role model who drives LinkedIn’s mission and vision
- Ensure all activities are aligned with all compliance rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of HR experience
- 1+ year of experience working in a HR functional area including, but not limited to, organizational development, change management, and employee relations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated exceptional experience in facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities while focused on customer service and quality
- Demonstrated experience should include employment law understanding, previous experience in supporting performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting
- Ability to manage time and workload, juggling conflicting priorities.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational acumen
- Outstanding communications skill with the ability to connect and develop trust quickly with all levels within an organization.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and have an abundance of common sense and pragmatism.
- Have a developing foundation of employment legislation and the ability to translate this into practical advice for the LI HR population

The pay range for this role is $86,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
