Job Summary:
Reporting and collaborating with the CEO, the Head of People Operations plays a pivotal role in HR operations. A keen focus on seamless communication, meticulous documentation, and efficient management of the employee lifecycle. This position requires previous experience in employee engagement, immigration processes, and a solid understanding of startup dynamics within the tech industry.
Guarantee team members stay informed about company policies and updates. Keep accurate records for HR metrics - ensure accurate HR records, update legal documents, and manage employee data related to salaries, and benefits.
Must have a strong strategic lens. Support the organization’s training initiatives and employee review process. Hold managers and employees accountable for 30, 60, 90 day reviews and OKR’s. Oversee the entire on-boarding and off-boarding process for employees, ensuring a seamless experience and that all necessary steps are completed.
Contribute to policy development and enforcement, ensuring alignment with current regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- 7+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in People Operations focus.
- Proven experience with the immigration processes with multiple visa types, and equity grants information.
- 2+ years experience in startup environments within the tech industry.
- Experience with benefit administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, Linear, Notion, Google, 1Password, Slack.
- Experience with performance management.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
