Our client is a retail company. They seek a Learning and Development Manager to join their Fort Lauderdale, FL office. This is 3 days in the office, hybrid opportunity that requires a retail industry background.
Responsibilities
- Develop a learning and development plan that aligns with the company's business objectives
- Work with department heads and stakeholders to identify training needs and opportunities
- Oversee employee training programs, including sales, customer service, and product knowledge
- Utilize industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of retail training programs
- Create training materials, manuals, e-learning modules, and other learning resources
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training programs to develop retail staff
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Provide feedback and coaching to retail employees to help them improve their performance
- Ensure that all retail training programs comply with industry regulations and standards
- Improve the effectiveness of the training programs to adapt to changing industry trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR learning and development experience
- Retail industry background required
- In-depth knowledge of retail operations, customer service, and sales
- Strong instructional design and training facilitation skills
- Able to drive employee engagement and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Skilled in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
