PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the direction of the HR Manager, the Recruiter will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully own the hiring process: from creation of job posting to the new hire's first week.
- Delivering a welcoming and seamless recruiting and onboarding experience.
- Maintaining interactions with friendliness, warmth, and positivity.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand qualifications needed for candidates.
- Reviewing and screening resumes for open positions across all departments.
- Completing phone or face to face interviews and being the first point of contact for candidates.
- Acting as liaison for the Company and external staffing partners.
- Following up and communicating frequently with candidates regarding application statuses and stages of the interview process.
- Scheduling all interviews, compiling feedback from interviewers, and extending conditional offer letters.
- Managing all applicants through Workday, our Applicant Tracking System.
- Growing our talent pipeline through sourcing efforts and proactive outreach campaigns.
- Tracking metrics including Time to Fill, candidate and onboarding experiences.
- Coordinating any onsite recruiting events or open houses.
- Assisting with the pre-employment process of new hires including background checks, physicals and drug screens, communication of new hire orientation details, and ensuring new hires have a successful start.
- Serve as a Recruiting subject matter expert within the plant and coaches team members on systems and processes.
- Coordinate new hire orientation, ensures smooth transitions between presenters, acting as a point of contact for answering new hire questions.
- Assist in building and managing project plans for continuous expansion, ensuring we are meeting our monthly headcount targets, providing status reports to leadership team, and participating in problem solving if any headcount goals are at risk.
- Assisting HR Department with other duties, as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, or any related field.
- Three to five years of experience in lieu of an academic background or a combination of both.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- 2-4 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life cycle.
- Recruiting and interviewing skills.
- Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills.
- Supports workplace diversity.
- Familiarity with relevant employment Law.
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in a typical office environment with a possibility of working remotely.
- Incumbent must be able to operate a computer.
- Lift/carry 10lb. or less, push/pull 12lbs. or less.
- Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head.
- This position may require long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- May require travel.
