LOB/ Global Function: This role sits in the Regional Communications Asia team within Global Communications in Corporate Affairs.
Role Value Proposition: The Senior Manager/Director, Internal Communications Asia is an experienced communications professional who provides execution and delivery for all aspects of the Communications function and acts as the key owner for the regional intranet platform and for the tracking and delivery of metrics for all Communications activities across the region. The role also acts as a business partner to the Global Employee Engagement team to deliver global and regional employee communications projects.
Principal Responsibilities:
- supporting and coordinating a cohesive internal communications strategy to engage all employees of MetLife Asia in understanding and caring about the company and its success
- acting as a business partner and senior counsel to Global Technology and Operations (GTO) both in facilitating their communications to employees as well as creating and delivering a relevant communications strategy for GTO senior leadership in Asia
- working closely with AVP Regional Communications to identify and deliver relevant speaking platforms and media opportunities to promote the company’s expertise in technology and operations in order to enhance the company’s overall reputation as well as attract and retain top talent.
- tailoring global and regional projects for easy and effective delivery by Communications teams across all countries
- working closely with all the country Communications heads to promote internally the country achievements at a regional and global level, as applicable.
- working closely with colleagues in Global Communications and country teams to monitor and deliver target metrics for employee engagement.
- supporting on the delivery of MetLife Foundation and CSR events as relevant in the markets
- working closely with colleagues in the Regional Offices and countries, as needed and relevant, to manage and deliver internal events and engagement activities.
- if applicable, managing the performance, quality and delivery of external agencies providing support for channel content and engagement activities.
- owning the management, performance tracking, and administration of the company’s internal channels, including the backend delivery needs for the intranet.
- managing the operations, content and design for internal communications channels, in collaboration where relevant with Global Communications colleagues
- supporting media training delivery
- ability to deliver external media activities and content as needed to provide cover.
