Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR professional to join our luxury medspa as a HR & People Operations Manager. This role combines elements of HR Generalist, Specialized HR, and Emerging HR positions to support our growing business in its mission to become an award-winning workplace.
As our HR & People Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with our luxury medspa's growth objectives. You will build and lead our HR department, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Strategic HR Operations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and vision to become a best place to work
- Collaborate closely with founders and leadership team to translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives
- Provide expert counsel on HR matters to support executive decision-making
Culture and Employee Experience
- Lead initiatives to cultivate and maintain a positive, inclusive company culture that reflects the luxury brand ethos
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance job satisfaction and team cohesion
- Design and oversee wellness programs that align with the company's medspa focus
HR Analytics and Reporting
- Implement HR metrics and analytics to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making
- Prepare and present monthly reports to leadership on key HR indicators, trends, and recommendations
- Utilize HR technology to streamline processes and improve data accuracy
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in the medspa industry
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote best practices
- Stay abreast of emerging HR trends and legislative changes, adapting strategies as needed
Performance Management and Development
- Create and manage a performance management system that fosters continuous improvement and aligns with company goals
- Design and implement leadership development programs to build a strong internal talent pipeline
- Facilitate regular talent reviews and succession planning sessions with leadership
Learning and Development
- Create a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports both individual and organizational growth
- Manage innovative training programs and conferences that enhance skills and knowledge across all levels of the organization
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution
- Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs to promote a harmonious work environment
- Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator in complex employee relations matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, bonus if roles were in startups or corporate settings
- Proven track record of developing and supporting teams of 10+ members
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and empathetic demeanor
- Proficiency in HR analytics tools
- Requires a hybrid work environment— 2-3 days in office
