Job Overview
We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Manager of Digital Marketing to oversee and direct the digital marketing strategy for our operations across the U.S. and Canada. This pivotal role encompasses the management of social media initiatives, customer relationship management (CRM), website oversight, e-commerce activities, delivery collaborations, and paid advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will embody creativity and data-driven leadership, with a robust history of managing digital projects and teams, particularly within the food and beverage sector. You will be instrumental in fostering brand development and enhancing guest interaction through cutting-edge digital marketing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a holistic digital marketing strategy in alignment with brand key performance indicators (KPIs) that drives guest interaction and contributes to revenue expansion.
- Establish and execute crisis management protocols for digital platforms to uphold the brand’s integrity.
- Lead the introduction of new digital initiatives, including analytics platforms and content management systems.
- Direct the creative and performance strategies for digital campaigns spanning both brand-wide and localized restaurant marketing efforts.
- Supervise the creation and execution of CRM strategies aimed at bolstering guest retention and loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with the guest service team to ensure that guest feedback is effectively integrated into digital strategies, optimizing CRM tools for peak performance.
- Manage external agencies to strategize, execute, and refine paid media campaigns across diverse digital channels, including search, social, display, and programmatic advertising.
- Oversee daily paid media operations, including preparation of creative briefs, copywriting, and media submissions across various platforms.
- Enhance organic traffic and search engine rankings by applying SEO best practices.
- Partner with digital creative agencies to refresh the website, ensuring an optimal user experience.
- Direct social media content creation and community engagement, establishing growth targets and leading performance campaigns.
- Develop and implement comprehensive tracking and reporting frameworks to assess the efficacy of digital campaigns, leveraging data insights to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to spearhead third-party delivery campaigns and amplify digital sales growth.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the team and partner agencies, underscoring the significance of analytical decision-making.
- Mentor and guide the social media associate, promoting creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of CRM tools, social media platforms, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills conducive to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related discipline (an MBA or advanced degree is preferred).
- A minimum of 10-12 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 6 years in a leadership position, ideally within the restaurant or food and beverage industry.
