Job Overview
Under the general direction of the AVP of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, the Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Airport's overall engagement & inclusion, belonging and equity strategies, program direction, policies, and implementation. The Engagement Coordinator provides administrative support, event planning and coordination, and supports communication and reporting requirements of the Airport's inclusion, belonging & equity and engagement programs and initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitates coordination and works with Senior DEI Manager, Communications & Marketing, the Diversity Strategic Leadership Council, Employee Resource Groups, HR, and other departments to support and ensure proper event planning and execution.
- Develops and maintains the content of all Inclusion, Belonging and Equity, Diversity Strategic Leadership Council and Employee Resource Group intranet sites on Connected Online with current rosters, activities, and other relevant information.
- Partners with Training and Development on engagement & inclusion, belonging, equity and diversity-related training programs.
- Supports Senior DEI Manager with benchmarking, researches and analyzes effectiveness of Airport's diversity efforts by staying informed of leading trends and issues.
- Analyzes and updates various diversity and engagement reports, workforce demographics, as well as assists with utilization analysis reports to support diversity and employee engagement at the Airport.
- Assists the Senior DEI Manager with information for the ESG report, Affirmative Action plan and other related reports.
- Manages the coordination and implementation of all employee engagement and DE&I events by providing logistical support including but not limited to speaker selection and fee negotiation, catering, audio/visual support, and any other necessary support.
- Assists with organization-wide related functions and events. Develops and maintains relationships and communications community partners and internal and external stakeholders.
- Partners with Training and Development on engagement & inclusion, belonging, equity and diversity-related training programs.
What You Need
- Completion of a high school curriculum or equivalent.
- Three (3) plus years of progressively responsible experience with an emphasis on event planning.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
What We Desire
- Associate degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, industrial relations, business, communications, or related field.
- Experience working with DEI functions.
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification.
