- People Operations
- Lead the UK PX operations team supporting and enabling UK people in the end to end processes of hire to retire, including audits and compliance activities.
- Drive efficiency and productivity gains by reviewing, streamlining and automating processes and procedures.
People Onboarding Responsible for the smooth delivery of a corporate induction programme for all new joiners, including defining, refining and delivering a programme and content.
- People Systems
- Working with Group PX Systems to develop a locally led model to support the management and maintenance of the UK HRIS suite within the Group Framework.
People Related Projects
- Take ownership of people related projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement, change and people outcome are delivered in line with the PX Strategy.
- This may include, integration of acquisitions, harmonisation activities, HRIS systems transformation and could also include project management of a ‘first time’ BAU process.
- Champion continuous improvement within PX including managing and prioritising the improvements register.
- Support the PX BP team in the delivery of major projects through support in 1:1 meetings.
Reporting
- Implement a systemic approach to the production of high quality and accurate reporting to help drive data-based decision making, and for risk and compliance monitoring.
Work Health & Safety
- Working with Group Work Health and Safety, develop a locally led model to support the management of WHS within the Group Framework and utilising the UK Facilities team.
- Currently a matrix management approach which will require strong stakeholder and influencing to maintain oversight.
Wider PX Activities
- Support the PX BP team if required in hearings or appeals for disciplinary and grievance hearings.
Change Management
- Support and lead change management initiatives to ensure that the PX Team and UK business can adapt seamlessly to the evolving needs of the business.
Policy Management
- Ownership of the UK People Policies, including partnering with the PX BP team and L&D on the review and maintenance of UK Policies in alignment with the Group PX Policy Framework.
- Enable PX processes to execute against UK PX Policy.
Risk Management
- Support Head of UK PX business unit to foster a risk culture.
- Oversee risk reporting for the business unit.
- Working with 1st line, enable UK PX business unit to deliver operational risk and compliance risk activities.
People Leadership
- Build, nurture and grow the UK People Operations team, fostering high engagement and driving operational excellence and a seamless people experience.
#PEXAUK
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or relevant business-related degree.
- Minimum of 10 years proven experience in People operations, with a deep understanding of systemising and automating processes for efficiencies.
- 3 years+ experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a scale up environment, and or with experience with mergers and acquisitions.
- A problem solver with the ability to translate organisational strategy into pragmatic HR strategies and initiatives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Up to date knowledge of UK employment law and regulations.
- Experience working across global boundaries preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills at a senior level.
- Drives collaborative experiences and opportunities with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Previous experience of harmonisation and TUPE related activities.
- Flexibility to travel to other UK sites and off-site meetings.
- Previous experience of developing and delivering first line manager training is advantageous.
- This role requires attendance at the office in Leeds a minimum of 2 days every week. Flexibility to attend regular (up to weekly) early morning calls with colleagues in Australia is also a requirement.
