Currently in a season of growth and expansion, this industry leading facility is searching for a Head of People and Culture to establish and start the HR team.

As the Head of People and Culture , you will be the go-to person for all things HR, creating a supportive and engaging workplace for a growing team. This newly created role offers the chance to build the HR department from the ground up, and an opportunity to set the foundation and culture in the HR team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Establish and manage the HR department
Provide guidance and support to staff on HR matters (conflict resolution, PD, etc.)
Ensure compliance with relevant awards, particularly SCHADS and employment legislation
Collaborate and work closely with upper management
Foster a collaborative, inviting and welcoming culture

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in an aged care or non-for-profit environment is HIGHLY ideal
Proven experience working within a HR team
Prior experience setting up and creating a HR department is EXTREMELY favourable
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding and knowledge of H&S, compliance, etc.
Exceptional organisational skills
Experience in a management position is advantageous
