As the Head of People, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's culture and driving our people strategy. You will lead all aspects of human resources, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development—all while ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment. Your leadership will be vital in aligning our people initiatives with our business goals and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives
Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team to drive effective HR practices and initiatives
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes, ensuring alignment with business needs
Champion employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Manage employee relations and performance management processes, addressing any conflicts effectively
Represent Utility Bidder in all matters related to employee legislation and compliance
Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for all staff

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably Head of People or similar
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and talent management
Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to foster a culture of inclusivity and engagement
Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD or equivalent) are highly desirable
