A global investment manager based in the City are hiring for a Communications Specialist on a 12 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in communications from an asset manager or financial services company. In particular it would be great if you have used Microsoft SharePoint, however they are flexible so long as you have used an Intranet platform.

Responsibilities of Communications Specialist (12m Fixed-Term Contract)

Content Creation: Write for various internal channels, such as intranet articles, emails, and scripts, and provide editorial support for teams like HR, Corporate Sustainability, and DE&I.
Intranet Management: Oversee content and structure for the corporate intranet on SharePoint, ensuring alignment with style and quality standards. Assist and guide contributors on best practices.
Event Support: Coordinate hybrid staff events in the office and on Microsoft Teams, helping presenters prepare and providing logistical support for quarterly business updates.
Video Production: Record and edit videos for internal use, liaising with vendors as needed and preparing talent for filming.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with teams across the organization—investment, People and Culture, DE&I, and others—to enhance employee engagement and internal communication. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on content and initiatives.
External Support: Assist with basic tasks in external communications, such as drafting media releases, LinkedIn posts, and website copy.
