Dalkia UK are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Energy Services Business Unit. This role is a remote role ideally looking for someone based in the Northern region but we can be flexible on location.

Role Overview

In this role you will partner with the relevant business area, assisting them in all recruitment-related matters. You will ensure recruitment processes are efficient with a focus on excellent candidate engagement and experience. You will engage, support, and collaborate with members of the team on agreed projects, assist with developing processes and contributing to the HR strategy. This is a varied and interesting role with no two days being the same. You will manage the immediate recruitment needs handling agencies, applicants, and the hiring process internally with support from the HR team.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Providing end to end support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions and adverts, screening CV’s, shortlisting, interviewing, providing constructive feedback to unsuccessful applicants and making the final job offer.
Support and provide hiring manager training and coaching to establish effective and efficient recruitment process with focus on being employer of choice.
Recommend what recruitment channels would be the best fit for the business – considering immediate roles but building for a future where we might be a direct recruiter for most roles.
Establish best practice of working with managers and candidates to create a comprehensive selection process to meet business needs.
Manage current recruitment requirements through liaising with internal managers through to offer. You will also be required to work in partnership with recruitment agencies as and when required.
Identify what we should be doing differently as a business and management team to be seen as an employer of choice in our market.
Streamlining recruitment and onboarding processes, focusing on ongoing improvement as the business grows. Lead the Recruitment and onboarding / ATS system implementation and integration for Dalkia Energy Services.
Identify skill set gaps within the business, where there are opportunities for development for current employees or where a new hire is needed.
Identify areas for improvement in processes using measurable metrics like time to hire and employee retention.
Providing reports to SLT on recruitment trends and advising on where changes can be made.
Monitoring business agency spend and ensuring this is kept to a minimum with the view of delivering as much recruitment inhouse as possible
Work collaboratively with the HR Team.

Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

Ideally will have experience of working in Recruitment agency and as In-house Recruiter.
Previous work with small organisations an advantage.
Experience of recruiting Engineers within Energy or Construction is also an advantage.
The ability to build professional working relationships with internal and external staff, up to and including Board Level.
Must have demonstrated effective multitasking and project management skills
Must have strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and be able to build relationships, up to and including Board Level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to challenge and champion change
Candidate would need to bring a can do, entrepreneurial attitude and a focus on impact
Experience working within a strategic internal recruitment role.
A proactive, forward-thinking mindset; being able to identify and recognise challenges before they occur in order to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Resilience and the ability to persuade and influence others.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Creativity and the confidence to bring new, innovative ideas to the table.
