The County of Hastings is currently accepting applications for a Summer Student Position in the Human Resources Department at the County Administration Building in Belleville, Ontario.

Job Description:

Assist in various functions within the Human Resources department
Assist Human Resources Advisors and Assistants
Assist in preparation of written and statistical reports and correspondence as required
Comply with department policies and government legislation
Assist staff with telephone/counter reception
Provide office coverage
Additional duties as required

Skills/Qualifications:

Enrolled as post-secondary student (College/University) and returning to full time education at a post-secondary institution in September 2025.
Previous knowledge in Human Resources and data entry would be an asset
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Strong Computer skills (Excel, Internet, WORD, ACCESS, Windows)
Ability to prioritize tasks
Police background check required
Confidentiality Agreement must be signed

Work Location: Belleville
Position Length: May 5 – August 22, 2025
