We are looking for an
HR Generalist to join our growing People team. This role will partner with leaders and Assemblers to ensure the efficient execution of HR processes and initiatives across the company. As our HR Generalist, you will handle a variety of tasks, from employee relations and benefits administration to performance management and legal compliance. Your proactive approach and ability to work independently will be key in driving a positive, high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist at Assembled, you will:
- Employee Relations: Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR matters, supporting positive relationships and helping resolve workplace issues.
- HR Policy Implementation: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes that align with Assembled’s overall business strategy.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition into Assembled. Manage employee exits, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring a positive offboarding experience.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage employment records and stay current on legal updates.
- Performance Management: Assist in the administration of performance review cycles and provide guidance to managers on coaching and feedback.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of company benefits, including health plans, 401k, and leave programs.
- HR Systems: Maintain and optimize our HRIS and other HR-related systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy in HR operations.
- Recruitment Support: Partner with the recruiting team to provide a smooth candidate-to-employee transition, and occasionally assist with interview processes and candidate sourcing.
- Culture & Engagement: Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives to support a vibrant, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
About You
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Thorough knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficient in using HR systems (HRIS, ATS), and Microsoft Office. Experience with Rippling or other advanced HR tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and multitask in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a passion for building positive work environments.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - 140,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options are provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered
