MARKETING MANAGER, SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATION
Status: FULL TIME – EXEMPT
Reports to: Sr Manager, Marketing & Digital Communications
Location – Hybrid (3 days in office currently; subject to change)
Applicant must reside in Los Angeles metro area
Summary of Position
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead our social media initiatives for the Television Academy and Television Academy Foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, producing, and managing visually compelling social media content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Produce highly-engaging visual assets and branding for various social media campaigns and content pieces including but not limited to:
o Templates for standard posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Story
o Infographics
o Videos/Clips
o Style Guides
o Social Media Toolkits
o Gifs/Instagram Story stickers
o Memes
· Video editing inclusive of clipping and/or adding captions, graphics and music as needed.
· Content capturing on-site at various Television Academy and external events.
· Video production utilizing existing and new content and ensuring all content is optimized for various social platforms.
· Work with Television Academy Design Services team to ensure all assets are consistently on-brand and adhere to Academy guidelines.
· Review and approve graphic and copy assets and layouts submitted on For Your Consideration (FYC), including but not limited to FYC invitations, collaterals, etc.
· When needed, correspond with FYC partners regards optimizing assets for FYC needs.
· Brainstorm creative content development initiatives with Marketing and Digital teams for emmy Magazine and Emmy-related marketing efforts.
Produce additional supplementary and creative content as needed.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the digital presence of the Television Academy and Television Academy Foundation through innovative and engaging social media content.
Minimum Requirements
• 5+years of professional experience producing creative static and video assets preferably for a brand or entertainment client.
• Extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid experience with social media platforms and tools (specifically TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook).
• High degree of self-motivation, ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, exceptional attention to detail.
• Works well with a team and with a range of creative people.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
Required Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in visual design and video editing software
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization
• Excellent creative and strategic thinking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Keen eye for brand consistency and design quality
Desired Qualities:
• Print/online Design and graphic experience.
• Working knowledge of motion graphic tools preferred.
• Entertainment industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with current television shows and talent preferred.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $68,700 - $72,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education depending on experience.
