Introduction:
Hawkwood are currently partnering with a high-growth, Series B-funded Software scale-up who are seeking their first Talent Acquisition Specialist in the USA.
Headquartered from London, UK, this SaaS company have been attracting wider praise for the stylistic nature, and high-quality UX of their popular SaaS tool. Following a successful funding round, led by some high-profile VC's (who have previously backed Revolut, Supercell, GoCardless and Klarna), this growing scale-up are expanding into the US.
Currently, around 50% of their revenues are generated in the USA, but they expect this to grow rapidly, and have assembled a US based Go-to-Market team of around 15 people, working remotely, with the highest concentrations in New York and San Francisco.
Their US team is expected to grow to approximately 25 people by the end of 2025 and, as such, they are seeking their first US-based Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead on all local hiring efforts, with a focus on growing Commercial (GTM) teams.
About the role:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to take full ownership of Commercial (Go-to-Market) hiring across the US.
Reporting directly into the UK-based Head of Talent, you will play a crucial role in enticing the best GTM talent into this challenger brand, while also helping to shape the recruitment strategy for the US.
What you can expect to be getting up to:
- Finding, and attracting the best Commercial (GTM) talent through outreach, communities, networks, channels and suppliers.
- Developing talent pipelines through sourcing, community engagement and referral generation.
- Finding and engaging active/passive candidates through various channels.
- Lead in delivering the best recruitment process and candidate experience.
- Getting deeply embedded in the culture both socially and professionally.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders, helping them to understand the value of good talent and people practices.
- Generating reports to help improve hiring processes.
- Providing the best experience for hiring managers and candidates.
- Localising the employer branding strategy for the US market
- Leading on salary and benefits benchmarking for the US market
You will be a good fit if you have:
- Recent experience managing (GTM/sales/commercial) hiring on behalf of a VC-backed Tech scale-up
- Experience working in a Technology company with a high talent bar
- A track record of enticing high quality talent away from established names and into a "challenger" brand
- Strong communication skills - the ability to speak articulately, with high-quality written communication
- Open learning mindset and fast learner, with a demonstrated capacity to quickly grasp: new and complex subject matters, new markets, areas, and business initiatives.
