The Opportunity
A digital health organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of People to lead its human resources function and drive continued growth and success. As a key member of the executive team, the Head of People will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's business plan and strategic vision. This role will focus on fostering a strong culture, enhancing talent acquisition, succession planning, talent management, organizational and performance management, employee development, and designing competitive compensation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement HR initiatives that effectively communicate and support the organizations mission and strategic goals, with a particular focus on enhancing employee engagement within the digital health sector.
· Create HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
· Serve as a strategic business partner to the executive/senior management team, providing guidance on organizational design, leadership development, and HR best practices.
· Collaborate with the leadership team to establish a comprehensive management succession plan aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
· Design and execute strategic recruiting and retention plans to attract top-tier talent in digital health, fostering a diverse, innovative, and growth-driven workforce.
· Oversee the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits plans that align with industry trends and enhance employee satisfaction.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, and leadership development across all locations.
· Utilize data-driven insights to analyze and continuously improve HR processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee needs.
· Ensure all HR initiatives are aligned to the mission, values, and business strategy while complying with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent management, culture building, organizational development, and HR strategy preferably within digital health or related industries.
· Proven experience working with high-growth, dynamic companies, preferably in healthcare or technology, and a deep understanding of digital health challenges and opportunities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
· Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills, with a history of building and developing high-performing teams.
· In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as experience with human resource information systems (HRIS) relevant to a digital health context.
