What You'll Do
This is a dynamic role with the objective of providing excellent HR provision to primarily the BCG London Office. As HR Specialist, you will support the implementation of BCG’s people strategy in our London office and our broader LAB system (London, Amsterdam, Brussels). Our goal is to improve the performance, retention and satisfaction of our employees. You will work with multiple related teams across BCG, both within London and across the wider LAB system, acting as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for general HR queries.
Key responsibilities are outlined below, but this may change based on your experience and will not be exhaustive.
General HR
This position covers a wide range of HR responsibilities, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on people-related matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle. You will ensure that HR processes are executed efficiently, maintaining high standards and full legal compliance. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR team, requiring exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation Your ability to interact effectively with people at all levels will be essential. You will manage the London HR inbox and support with employee relations addressing issues such as, absence management, occupation health, performance management, grievance, disciplinary and career transitions. Whilst elements of the role are administrative, there is an opportunity for you to take on process improvement projects and work with other HR colleagues across the system to contribute to various broader HR initiatives.
HR Operations & Project Management
You will play an active role within the HR operations space working closely with our team in Delhi to maintain and manage employee documentation. You will support employee lifecycle projects to further enhance our employee experience and broader employee value proposition. Examples of projects can be: managing our Flex Working framework, overseeing the leavers process, plus supporting with the launch of the Time Off Module in Workday.
What does your team look like?
You will be part of the LAB HR team. In addition to your London HR colleagues, you will work closely together with your HR colleagues in Amsterdam and Brussels. Besides, you will collaborate with other LAB HR sub teams and (international) colleagues to identify and execute key HR programs (locally and within LAB).

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in an all-round HR position, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment
- Generalist HR knowledge, including an understanding of UK employment law
- University degree of equivalent relevant experience or CIPD at Level 5 is a plus
- Experience supporting with HR projects
- Workday experience is a plus
Who You'll Work With
You will work with multiple stakeholders, both from consulting teams and from business support teams, from our office in London and our offices in Amsterdam and Brussels. Additional stakeholders include Staffing, Career Development, Career Services, Learning & Development, Payroll and HR representatives from alternative business areas.
