About the Role
The Senior Media Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of media initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across all No7 Beauty Company brands in the US market. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of media strategies, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives. Reporting to a Senior Director of Marketing, the Senior Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping media strategies for both owned and retail media channels, ensuring alignment with brand goals and overall company strategy.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Strategic Media Planning and Execution
- Develop and oversee comprehensive media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement across digital, social, and traditional media channels.
- Lead media planning for all campaigns, including annual, seasonal, and ad hoc activations, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Partner with retail media teams (e.g., Walgreens, Target, Amazon) to maximize exposure and efficiency in joint campaigns.
- Drive performance optimization through ongoing analysis, testing, and refinement of media plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative, PR, and content teams to ensure media plans are integrated and executed cohesively across all touchpoints.
- Partner with account teams to amplify retail promotions and meet Joint Business Plan commitments through retail media support.
- Collaborate with global teams to align on best practices and leverage synergies across markets.
Agency and Vendor Management
- Lead the relationship with external media agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and best-in-class execution.
- Evaluate agency performance and provide feedback to optimize outcomes.
- Manage media buying processes, including internal approvals, negotiations, tracking, and reporting.
Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze media performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Provide regular reporting to key stakeholders, highlighting the effectiveness of media strategies and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure campaigns are measured against KPIs, including ROI, awareness, and engagement metrics.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging media trends and technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor within the organization on media strategies and innovations.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in media planning, buying, and execution, preferably in beauty, CPG, or retail industries.
- Expertise in digital media, including programmatic, social, and influencer marketing.
- Proven experience managing retail media campaigns and partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in media planning tools and analytics platforms.
