Job Description:
The Procurement Business Partner/Manager (Business Relationships) will be the representative of the Procurement Function with the markets on scope ensuring good information flow between the Nespresso markets and Procurement. This role will ensure the development, management and prioritization of Procurement activities servicing the Corporate Globally Managed Business (GMB)/function and engage category teams across all spend categories to effectively deliver against the corresponding business units or GMB/Function strategies. The Procurement Business Partner will also need to understand the GMB/Functional goals and represent them to category leadership and help shape strategic planning.
This role will also monitor success towards business goals delivered by the category teams and procurement resources across the whole of procurement including at market resources and to periodically reassess the targeting and actions by the category and other teams. This is also a People Leader role that will manage 2 direct reports. This is a hybrid-based opportunity that will work onsite 3-4 days a week at Nespresso’s office in New York City (Manhattan) and the rest remotely from home. This role is open to and eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship. Eligible applicants will be expected to be willing and able to relocate to New York City, New York.

Responsibilities:
- Understand serviced entity strategies and priorities and translate that into needs and integrate the information into procurement category strategies across the Hub and At Market teams; Ensure this information is provided to all critical Global category leadership.
- Involved at early stage of project development within the GMB/SBU/Function, understand innovation and renovation plans for GMB and interface with R&D, PTC and other GMB/SBU/Functional specific groups developing strategy and supplier needs; Ensure these are effectively represented and incorporated into category and SRM work.
- Understand category strategies and sourcing plans and represent these to the GMB/SBU/Functional leadership at relevant stages throughout the category process; Ensure category strategies and sourcing plans are understood by the GMB/SBU/Functional leadership, and effects are debated and discussed with Hub teams/local teams as required.
- Provide feedback to the GMB/SBU/Functional leadership supply market evolution and industry outlooks, forward pricing and hedging as and when applicable.
- Monitor and ensure the compliance of the procurement activities in the markets (S2P, responsible sourcing and VAP)
- Represent the markets across the procurement function (Nestle in the Market (NiM), Nespresso Global HQ and the Nestrade team).
- Contribute to the Procurement function objectives achievement in the markets (savings, payment terms and compliance).
- Hire, train, coach and develop, as well as manage a team of 2 direct reports.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by direct Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or in a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant Procurement Management or Business Partnership experience within the CPG or relevant industries required.
- 2+ years of current or prior People Leadership experience managing direct reports required.
- Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
- Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
- Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and able to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills and courage (ability to influence key business decisions and stakeholders/suppliers).
- Must be agile and flexible to pivot when business needs change and must also have strong self-initiative and accountability.
- Experience with CRM/Data Reporting systems such as SAP or Power BI is highly desired.
- Willing and able to travel up to 20% based on the needs of the team and the business.
The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
