The Data, Analytics, Insights & Business Operations (DAIBO) team is looking for a seasoned project manager with experience leading the design, implementation and execution of complex projects and events. This role contributes to Starbucks success by leading DAIBO’s partner (employee) experience initiatives in various forms in support of organizational and enterprise priorities while driving the communication and culture strategy supporting partners and stakeholders. In this role, you will partner closely with partners within DAIBO and across the business, collaborating on project planning and execution, and project delivery. This role will support the director of business strategy & operations – DAIBO while working in tandem with the culture, communications, & change management team. Familiarity with event design, production, and planning processes is critical to the success of this role as well as familiarity presentation design both written and visual.
As a Project Manager – Culture, Communications, & Change Management, you will…
- Assist in creating DAIBO’s modernized Knowledge Management platform – You will support DAIBO in developing the revitalized knowledge management platform to build compelling experiences for partners to better immerse in research, analytics, & insights.
- Deliver Annual DAIBO Partner Experience Events – You will be responsible leading the design and execution of DAIBO’s annual partner experience events including DAIBO Days. This includes event scoping, budget management, development, and working team leadership.
- Assist in creating best practices and guidelines within DAIBO brand and communication space to support overall best-in-class standards for consistent communications practices - You will become familiar with Starbucks communication and brand guidelines, adopting, tailoring, and implementing them for DAIBO, supporting the continuous improvement within the space, partnering to create artifacts such as Newsletters and Strategic Insights Briefs.
- Act as a cross-functional Gateway between DAIBO and other functions – You will bring a positive mindset to cross team collaboration both inside of DAIBO and outside of DAIBO. Collaboration is vital to the success of this role with leadership and other support teams such as Public Affairs and PRO (Human Resources).

- 2+ years project management including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications.
- 3 years managing and leading large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects
- 2+ years building and mentoring project-focus teams

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
