Be the Architect of our dynamic industry's future: L'Oréal HR Management Trainee Program
Ready to shape the future of work at a global powerhouse? It's not just products, it's innovation. It's not just trends, it's transformation. And HR is at the heart of it all. L'Oréal's 18-month HR Management Trainee Program empowers you to become a strategic HR leader, shaping the people and policies that will drive our business forward.
What will you do?
Gain unparalleled experience through three dynamic rotations:
- Business Rotations (2x 6 month placements): Dive headfirst into two different business areas, developing a deep understanding of L'Oréal's operations and building a rock-solid business acumen. This first-hand exposure is key to becoming a true HR business partner.
- HR Rotation (6 months): Leverage your newfound business knowledge within our vibrant HR function. Tackle real-world projects, partner with key stakeholders, and contribute to strategic initiatives in talent management, employee relations, or another specialised area (Talent Acquisition, Learning, Reward, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion).
Are you the ideal candidate?
We're searching for passionate individuals who are:
OPERATIONAL MASTERS: You don't just manage, you elevate. You strive for operational excellence by creating employee-centric solutions grounded in data-driven insights. Efficiency and empathy go hand-in-hand.
- PEOPLE CHAMPIONS: You're a champion for others, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse voices are heard and celebrated. You're passionate about driving positive employee experiences at every touchpoint.
- CULTURE AND CHANGE AGENTS: You don't shy away from change, you embrace it. You anticipate shifts, facilitate transitions, and embody L'Oréal's culture, inspiring others to do the same.
- STRATEGIC BUSINESS DRIVERS: You see the bigger picture, connecting the dots between business challenges and HR solutions. You're a strategic thinker who transforms obstacles into opportunities for impactful change.
- Due to the complex nature of this role, we are only accepting applications from candidates with previous HR experience; either from work experience or an internship, or an equivalent alternative.

Next steps...
Once you click apply you will be asked some questions to check you are eligible for this role. These will be questions around your current situation, whether you’re happy with the salary, location etc.
If you are eligible to apply, you will then be sent a link via email to ‘Step 2’ of the application process; the online assessments. Keep an eye out for this (it might even land in your spam folder!). Although there is no deadline for completion, the quicker you submit your answers the quicker we can continue to move you through the process!
Once we have your results, our recruiters will conduct a final review of your entire application and if successful, invite you to an Assessment Centre. Please be patient with us as we receive a high volume of applications and want to spend time going through each of them.
Our Assessment Centres this year will mostly be in person, they will be running from when applications open until the roles are filled. These Assessment Centres are specific to function, so please be patient if you don’t get invited straight away – it might just be because your function’s Assessment Centre date isn’t until later on in the recruitment period!
Please note, if you apply for more than one role you will be put forward for the one we deem most suitable for you. If you have a strong preference, please only apply to that one role to ensure you are considered for the correct role.
