You will have full accountability for attracting and hiring outstanding talents for specific business group/function across South East Asia. You will play a crucial role in shaping our talent strategy and be the go-to advisor for all things related to talent acquisition. A day in the Life:
In this role, you will be a valuable advisor on effective talent acquisition methods, from sourcing strategies to employer branding. You will play an important role in representing our workplace culture and fostering connections between teams, departments, and individuals.
Responsibilities
- Build trust and credibility with clients across different locations through effective consultation at every stage of the recruiting process.
- Understand current and future hiring needs and assess the labor market to develop and recommend the right recruiting strategies.
- Use innovative sourcing techniques and branding strategies to attract and develop diverse talent pools.
- Collaborate with HR to support business needs and devise effective recruitment strategies for all openings.
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience and successfully close top candidates.
- Ensure consistent process management that balances compliance, business needs, and optimal candidate experience.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at job fairs and university events.
- Actively use talent acquisition technology and social media to attract talent and promote our opportunities and employer brand.
- Participate in projects and showcase the use of metrics and data to senior leadership.
- Enforce to/identify PPI (Practical Process Improvement) opportunities.
- Responsible for local recruitment reporting using our global reporting dashboard.
- Participate in local, regional, global, and cross-functional projects.
- May perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience working in a professional environment.
Experience:
- Robust experience in full life cycle recruiting or experience within a search firm/RPO, preferably in a large-matrixed environment.
- Strong client management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience partnering with the business and building positive relationships with HR and key partners.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRM).
- Expertise in various sourcing channels, including direct approaches, BOOLEAN searches, networking, and database mining for functional and technical positions.
- Prior experience in hiring for commercial business.
Language:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
