The Role
As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function for the organization. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. You will oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff and manage employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff, including the design and implementation of employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Manage employee relations, including the development and implementation of strategies to foster a positive and productive work environment, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including the development and implementation of competitive salary and benefits packages and the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Manage performance management programs, including the development and implementation of performance metrics, feedback mechanisms, and employee recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employment, including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and employee privacy and data protection.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Manage HR budget and staffing levels.
- Be responsible for the administrative side of the HR functions, such as monthly payroll, contracts, social security etc
Requirements:
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in human resources, including 2+ years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
