As part of our commitment to excellence, we are looking to expand our People team by hiring a driven and passionate Talent Acquisition Partner.
Role Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in helping Sparta Commodities grow by attracting top talent across global markets. You will work closely with the executive team, senior leaders, and external partners to build robust talent pipelines, with a focus on hiring within the oil and gas markets, particularly trading houses and specialists in data and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate sourcing to offer management for roles across trading, data, and analytical functions within the energy commodities space.
- Global Talent Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to source, attract, and recruit high-performing individuals in global markets, particularly focusing on oil and gas trading professionals and data/analytical specialists.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leaders and executives to understand hiring needs and provide strategic recruitment support, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Talent Pipelining: Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building with potential candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, representing the Sparta brand and fostering long-term relationships with potential hires.
- Market Insights: Stay up to date on market trends and competitor hiring practices to continuously refine recruitment strategies and drive competitive advantage.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a high-performing, collaborative People team to deliver a consistent and impactful hiring process.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Proven track record of successfully hiring in the oil and gas markets, with a focus on trading houses and data/analytical specialists within the energy commodities sector.
- Global Recruitment Expertise: Experience in managing talent acquisition across multiple geographies, with an understanding of local market dynamics and challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and executives, providing recruitment expertise and contributing to strategic discussions on talent needs.
- Drive and Enthusiasm: A self-starter with the tenacity and enthusiasm to manage multiple recruitment processes while delivering a high level of candidate and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a high-performing and collaborative People team.
- Ownership: Comfortable taking full ownership of the recruitment function, leading the process from end to end and delivering results in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- ATS: Able to leverage the full benefits of our ATS (we have just launched TeamTailor) and make it an integral part of our candidate experience.
