A leading global startup in the insurance-tech space is looking for a driven, motivated, and talented Global Head of People to join our management team and report directly to the CEO. This role involves overseeing all recruiting, human resources, and employee experience activities across our global offices, including managing local budgets, HR functions, and reporting. A Day in the Life:- Work with the leadership team to develop the vision and strategy for our people function (including recruiting, onboarding, culture, day-to-day experience, etc.).
- Oversee, manage, and shape all people-related processes across talent acquisition, human resources, people programs, and employee experience.
- Oversee and manage higher-level HRBP functions for key geographies with the support of local HR operations teams.
- Lead the recruiting team and process, ensuring it balances quality hiring, speed, and a positive candidate & hiring manager experience.
- Operationalize and nurture a high-performing and caring company culture.
- Develop and implement new and improved recruiting and HR processes that enable business goals (e.g., performance management, leveling, employee development).
- Ensure all tactical HR operations are being conducted (including onboarding, payroll, etc.) in compliance with company policy and relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Act as a thought partner to the leadership team on all HR-related matters.
- Partner closely with Finance and the rest of the leadership team to enable strategic business goals through proper organizational development, headcount planning, and employee retention strategies.
What We Need From You:- 6+ years of experience in HR management, including operations, recruiting, and/or employee experience.
- 3+ years of startup experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Experience managing and working with global teams, ideally with experience in multiple international regions.
- Strong analytical skills and process orientation, including experience developing spreadsheets, reporting, presentations, and using tools and software programs.
- No-drama and no-ego approach to problem-solving and communication.
- Ability to think in unconventional ways with a healthy skepticism of the status quo.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Sharp interpersonal skills, exceptional emotional intelligence, and the ability to gain trust and influence others.
