The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in Bay Area, Chicago, New York or Omaha.
Our Employee Communications team plays a unique role at LinkedIn. We connect and engage employees with the right information, at the right time, so they are productive and empowered to help LinkedIn succeed. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Employee Communications Manager II. This role serves as the primary Employee Communications business partner to our Member & Customer Success (MCS) organization. A part of LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO), MCS includes teams that help members with issues on the LinkedIn platform, help onboard our customers and gather feedback from our members and customers to improve our products.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the VP of MCS and the org’s leadership team, giving strategic guidance to senior leaders and business partners
- Understand the leader’s and organization’s goals, culture, and challenges and develop communication strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive the global employee communications strategy and tactics for the MCS organization, aligning with comms efforts across LinkedIn, GBO, and MCS
- Ensure there’s a consistent cadence of communication on business priorities through channels like all-hands meetings, a newsletter, and an intranet site, including finding new ways to connect with an audience
- Craft messaging, executive talking points, and other content that are clear and concise and that inform and inspire employees
- Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, and Sales on communications plans
- Lead change management communications around organizational changes and confidently advise leaders throughout the process
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience
- 3+ years of experience in Employee Communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience supporting senior executives
- 6+ years of experience in Employee Communications roles
- Experience working with a Sales, Customer Success or Customer Service organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience guiding communications through stakeholder reviews
- Ability to advise senior leaders on communications approach and messaging
- A collaborative approach with the ability to lead through influence and steer outcomes among people of all backgrounds and levels
- Experience developing communications strategy and driving tactical execution across multiple communication formats and channels
- Experience navigating complex organizations and working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to connect dots and see the bigger picture across a large global organization
- Experience managing projects end-to-end, with an ability to multitask, move quickly, operate with ambiguity, and inspire cooperation at all levels of the organization
- Comfort experimenting with new communications formats that engage an audience
- Exceptional judgment and problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to operate with a high degree of discretion

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $141,000 to $221,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
