Our client is a leading private business, with a complex operating structure of businesses across multiple sectors. They are headquartered in Scotland and their workforce is based throughout the UK.
As part of an ongoing program of transformation, they need someone exceptional to join and lead their People and Culture team. It will be the job of the incoming Head of Culture to encourage and help colleagues to produce their best work, and to create a genuine learning environment.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work closely with stakeholders, from across the business and within your team. Creating collaborative, flexible and engaging ways of working across the team and the wider business.
This role will help deliver growth for the business by bringing focus, clear methodology and strategic direction, which creates brilliant experience for stakeholders and staff. Through others, you will help shape the environment for colleagues keeping the focus on delivering the right outcomes for customers and enhancing business performance and effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements
- A capable and qualified HR leader and experienced people manager who creates the right environment for colleagues to thrive.
- A proven track record of delivering change through to delivery, with the resilience required to do so.
- Passion for delivering culture change in new and innovative ways, with good connections to external networks and best practice.
- Ability to build effective and open working relationships with your team and the wider stakeholders, such as senior leadership, board and departments across the business.
- Future focused thinking with the ability to flex around changing priorities and needs.
- Technical HR and people experience in OD, learning and development.
- Candidates from a consumer sector background would be highly desirable.
